Hello! I’m Veeraz Thakkar, a high school junior from San Jose, CA. As someone passionate about exploring the intersection of AI and society, I created this EthicalAIPolicy blog to dive into the latest research and developments in AI policies.

My journey into AI policies began with a fascination for technology and its role in shaping our society. Growing up in Silicon Valley, I’ve always been surrounded by the buzz of technology and innovation. I first got interested in AI a few years ago when ChatGPT came out. Since then I’ve created a few projects using AI such as a classification model for heart disease and a deep learning model to forecast electrical load demand. 

AI can change the world for the better but it has to be developed and governed with fairness, accountability, and transparency. EthicalAI is all about understanding how we can make AI safe and helpful. I aim to foster a deeper understanding of how AI can shape a safer, smarter world by highlighting key developments, research, and insights in AI policies.
